A superb quality regency period mahogany drum type
Centre table having old leather with tooled decoration
To circular revolving top over four frieze drawers with
Bone inlaid lettering alternating with four false drawers
Raised on elegant turned central column terminating on
Tri-form base with elegant original carved paw feet

(Often referred to as rent tables due to the fact that landlords
would often use them as a desk for keeping accounts of rent
money that was due and had been paid, drum tables are
extremely popular items of furniture. They can be used in a
variety of different spaces around the home including entrance
halls, libraries, studies and living rooms and generally add a real
elegance as well as having excellent function. This particular
example is excellent quality and retains a lovely old leather
top as well as the most unusual feature of the charming bone
inlaid lettering on its drawers. As seen from the images it can
also be dismantled into 2 parts making it very easy to transport
and install into almost any environment.)
