(Dressers are one of the most loved and also most versatile
pieces of furniture which money can buy and have nearly always
been well used in their previous lives with many a Fine story to
tell! Dressers were made throughout the 17th, 18th and 19th
centuries and a large proportion of them originally started life
in two parts with a plate rack above the base, but not all, and
it is now more common to find them without the racks as so many
