19th Century Rosewood Piecrust Occasional Table (England, circa 1840)

£4,950.00
A very fine quality mid-19th century rosewood occasional wine, or
lamp table, in the manner of Gillows, Lancaster, having
superbly figured top with pie crust moulded edge and
re-entrant corners raised on elegant turned cluster column
and scrolling tripod legs.

(A well known design of the famous Lancaster furniture making
firm Gillows this table is incredibly elegant and exceptional quality.
As you would expect from Gillows they have selected the finest
rosewood veneers and the craftsmanship is of the highest grade.
Remarkably for such a small surface it is incredibly sturdy and robust
and would no doubt be a wonderful elegant addition to any home or
collection).
