18th Century Georgian Mahogany Sheraton Dressing Table Mirror (England, circa 1790)

A very attractive and good quality George III Sheraton
Period dressing table mirror having shield shaped replaced
Mirror plate over well figured double concave two drawer
Base with crossbanded and strung decoration raised on
Charming ogee feet

A good color and patina this mirror is particularly unusual in terms
of the double concave shape to the base. The base is also finished
nicely in terms of the cross banded and strung decoration which adds
a touch of elegance and class. Although originally designed to sit atop
a dressing table it is of course most versatile and would suit a variety
of locations around the home. The mirror plate itself is replaced, but
not brand new, meaning there are a few old marks, but it is very much
functional as a dressing mirror.)
