Of Incredibly Rare Small Proportion Having Carved
And Channelled Decoration Standing On Turned
And Fluted Legs

We believe that it should win object of the year due to the quality, rarity and condition. It gives a different take on the standard chaise longue and is just adorable to look at. Also it has already inspired much discussion as to the reason for its original commission and use and we are ure it will provide a great talking point throughout the competition! It would be great to see a 'traditional' piece of furniture, but with a twist win the competition this time around!

We believe this piece is significant due to the incredibly unusual proportions. It is wonderful quality and cannot be described as a childs piece of furniture as it is full sitting height. It is the width and depth that are smaller than average and this makes it incredibly elegant. It must have been made in a good workshop as a one off piece possibly for an alcove or a window bay.

As long as it has been pre-arranged with ourselves then we will bring the piece to your home and if it is not as described or looks totally different to how you imagined then we will take it away again for you, usually for no charge at all (for long distances we may require a nominal delivery charge).
